I am currently a sophomore at the University of Missouri and I will be graduating in the spring of 2019. I’m majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Captive Wild Animal Management. Once I graduate, I plan on continuing my education at the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine in order to become a small and large animal veterinarian. I may specialize in raptors.

In the Eggert Lab, I work with Joe Gunn on his dissertation project evaluating the taxonomic status of the Neosho Small Bass.

I was always very involved and interested in conservation. Researching genetics and applying the research to conservation efforts is very intriguing.
